The 2010 extreme Wine experience, offered in conjunction with Christie's and the London Wine Academy, will be taking place from 5th-9th September inclusive.
The course is designed as best-in-category and help enthusiasts of all levels to significantly improve theirknowledge and appreciation of fine wine.
A carefully calibrated combination of
theory and practice creates a 'soup-to-nuts' understanding of the difference
between good wine and great wine - from the soil to the vine to the winery to
the glass to the palate. We
tailor-make the instruction to the level and needs of the various participants.

The course uses inductive, deductive and sensorial teaching. It combines the systematic approach and official qualification of the WSET Intermediate Certification* with the proprietary Chene Bleu Extreme Wine Certification**. Created and taught by Clive Barlow MW, Chairman, Education Committe of the Institute of Masters of Wine, and Nick Dumergue, a top wine judge & writer currently based in Asia.
You will also get hands-on experience in the vineyard and the winery as well as a chance to try your hand at blending.
